The opening ceremony at the completely refurbished Stadthalle in Karlsruhe featured, amongst other things, a keynote speech by Torsten J. Koerting on the topic of AI in small and medium-sized enterprises, the impact of which was still being felt over the first beer of the welcoming evening that followed.
The extensive programme of talks over the following two days centred on the topics of digitalisation and AI in electroplating and surface technology, fire safety, energy (systems) and hydrogen, raw materials and circularity, bath and surface analysis, damage claims, as well as the well-established business forum ‘Management meets Surface’ and the consultation session on regulatory developments.
Female SurFaces, the ZVO’s women’s network, was also present once again with a session and a stand at the accompanying industry exhibition, where around 70 exhibitors showcased their products and services and invited visitors to engage in technical discussions.
