PIAE stands for Plastics in Automotive Engineering and is the leading congress for plastics in cars. For over 40 years, it has been highlighting current plastics engineering applications and their use in interiors, exteriors, engines, materials and technologies with carefully selected presentations from high-calibre automotive manufacturers and suppliers.

The accompanying PIAE exhibition with representatives from the entire value chain has become one of the highlights of the event. An ideal platform for the FGK to present itself and its new generation of high-quality CREON real metal surfaces.

The FGK represents qualified surface technology companies specialising in decorative and functional electroplated coatings on plastic components, primarily for the demanding automotive industry. In recent years, its focus has been on the development of sustainable surfaces: 100 per cent recyclable, coating of components with recyclate content, chromium (VI)- and PFAS-free, resource efficiency in every sub-step ...
At the PIAE, the FGK will demonstrate to trade visitors how high-quality haptics and outstanding surface quality can be combined with recyclability and sustainability. The real metal surfaces also offer outstanding design options, especially in combination with light.
As suppliers of galvanised plastic parts, the services offered by FGK members go beyond the actual coating. At the customer's request, they also take on the manufacture of the component or further processing steps. Design, toolmaking, injection moulding, the electroplated end product and assembly activities - everything comes from a single source.
