The discussion regarding „Chrome 2030: The future of plating on plastics in the automotive industry“ initiated by Fachverband Galvanisierte Kunststoffe e.V. (FGK) in recent years is set to continue on Tuesday 19 March 2020 at Mövenpick Hotel Stuttgart Airport. Based on the only missing final political decision FGK expects a seven-year chromiumtrioxide authorisation period from the publication date of the European Commission. It is expected that until then the trivalent chrome plating has been established and is in production at the companies.
There will be exclusive reports about the development status of alternative chromium conditioning and plating systems and an evaluation of alternative processes. Finally, the event will showcase the application status of trivalent chromium plating in the European automotive market.
In addition to the presentations, which will be simultaneously translated into English, representatives of the German plating on plastics industry and decision-makers from the supplier sector will also be on hand to answer questions.
We would be pleased if our event finds your interest and we welcome you on the new date 16 September 2020 at Congress Center Düsseldorf (CCD Stadthalle). Please use the form in the appendix for your registration. There you will also find Information about hotel reservation.
